Why We Started Cosmic Grain
Cosmic Grain began in 2023, with the birth of our daughter. As new parents, our world shifted overnight, bringing with it a deeper awareness of what we were feeding her. In searching for honest, nourishing food, we realised how few truly healthy options existed for children—especially ones rooted in real, familiar ingredients.
In a post-COVID world, many of us began returning to food that heals rather than merely fills. As Indians, we couldn’t ignore a simple truth: while modern cities leaned toward packaged cereals and processed alternatives, our villages continued to thrive on bajra and other millets—grains that had quietly sustained generations long before convenience replaced wisdom.
Millets were among the first crops ever cultivated, and Cosmic Grain was born from the desire to bring them back—pure, intentional, and proudly Indian—for the world our children will grow into.
Why COSMIC GRAIN?
BECAUSE WE GO BACK TO THE SOURCE. WHILE MANY BRANDS TREAT MILLETS AS A TREND, WE TREAT THEM AS A LEGACY—BUILT ON RESPECT FOR THE LAND, THE FARMERS, AND THE GENERATIONS THEY HAVE NOURISHED.
